For 50 years, Counseling Services of Lancaster has served the people of Lancaster county with substance use disorder, dedicating our time to helping others with some of the most difficult parts of their lives. We truly care about our clients and treat them like family, without casting judgement on their past.
Our services are designed to meet each person where they are, and we personalize our approaches to the care they receive. We understand how hard the substance use recovery journey can be, and when someone reaches out for help, we reach back without judgement. We have translations services as well, and can assist with more than 200 languages.

Substance Use disorder is a disease, and here at CSL, we treat it that way. We treat all of Lancaster County, and have evidence-based services that help prevent, treat and recover from this disorder.

We are a Community Distributor for Narcan, the Opioid Reversal Medication.
Narcan has become an essential tool to prevent overdose deaths. If you or someone you may know is in need of Narcan, stop by our office during business hours. We can provide you with the medication, no questions asked.
It is completely free and anonymous.
OUR SERVICES

Our Prevention and Intervention services offer a variety of services to address the prevention of substance misuse and substance use disorders. Evidence based programs and strategies are provided in schools and to the community to educate Lancaster County on the potential dangers of alcohol and other drugs.

We offer comprehensive outpatient programs and evidence based counseling approaches to address substance use disorders and other related problems. Services are confidential and available to adults and adolescents.

We have peer support specialists that have lived treatment and recovery experience, and help support those on the path of sobriety.
